BUREAUCRATIC MOBS This group of mob, mobs the society by been lukewarm, they mobs the state and throws all kinds of criticism and abuses on the state, they were paid but goes to work late, When a citizen is in need of a task he/she will not see them. The civil office will almost become yours before you can achieve what you were looking for. Most of the staff would have become acquainted with you and you guys will almost become friends if you are an extrovert. They go to office 10 am or 12 pm and left 2pm due to poor supervision from the mob state. This has been the reason kwankwaso took a sweep on them by paying unnoticed visit, cross checking and removing ghost workers from the state pay roll and they declared him enemy, Yahaya Bello did the same, they declared him enemy, Okowa the governor of Delta state did and Mr. integrity did the same and they were made enemies. These people are mobs, enemy of the society their attitudes has left many people unemployed, many activities of the state undone, many fake product in the market and poor production but their attitudes is not surprising, in a mob state, the political class mob and everyone is working towards mobbing the society, they have mobbed the society and the citizen whom has given an ultimate and undivided loyalty is mobbing back. These bureaucrats will go to their businesses and abandoned the business of the state. These mobs are mean to the society. At the end of the month when salary is delayed, abuses will start; they will be crying foul and would be hungry for strikes. They are doing so because of their businesses, which they fall back to during the strike and the state will be paying these mobs, this is a double mobbing without production. This action has led to so many fake products in the market, lack of availability of civil servants and high cost of getting a product registered. This kind of thing happened in a mob state. Nigerian state is a criminal state, the mobbing became more pronounce when on 29 May 2018, “The Presidential Initiative on Continuous Audit remove over 52,000 ghost workers from the Federal Government MDAs Payroll.” This means the space of 52000 unemployed individuals from the society, giving them livelihood and the chance to be better citizens but one or two individuals deprived these great numbers jobs and sat on their welfare and future. This is barbaric and great mobbing of the society upon which the state stands. During the reign of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, in September 2010, a staff audit of the Nigeria Police Force revealed that 230,000 Police were authentically verified out of 337,000 that were on payroll. The salary section of the Police, their pay officers and accountants in all the states of the Federation as well as bank officials were implicated in the enlistment and payment of 107,000 ghost police. In July 2011, the staff auditing of seven Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies revealed that 43,000 ghost workers were employed, at an annual cost of over N12 billion. The same July 2011, the Director General of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Mr. Chris Onyemenam, announced the discovery of 4,000 ghost workers out of the 10,300 employees on the NIMC’s payroll after concluding biometric data capture exercise. As I write with a painful heart and a dried pain, this means a lot at federal level. At the federal level this is the job space of 229, 000 citizens been occupied and their salary been mobbed by the bureaucratic mobs in a society that have high rate of unemployment and jobless youths without nothing to do and know capital to initiate business and some mobs sat comfortable on their jobs while always smiling to the bank and do you know what? The mob state never care to locate the perpetrators through the modus which the salary is received, who employed the ghost workers, how does their names got to the payroll and never care to bring them to book, this is so because the state is a mob, supporting mobbing, criminal doesn’t chase criminal is like chasing your own shadow. None of the above was done because the state is a mob and every government that came to power support and consolidates mobbing. But it is alarming to know that this bureaucratic mobbing is not done at federal level alone but also at state level. These mobbing and evil activities are not only in federal bureaucrat but the same in all the 36 States and 774 local government councils in Nigeria. In Rivers, the State Universal Education Board discovered 1,477 ghost workers costing N200 million monthly in its payroll after staff auditing. Furthermore in July 2011, the Chairman of the Tureta Local Government Area of Sokoto State, Alhaji Mande Lofa, announced the discovery of 500 ghost workers in the council payroll after staff auditing. By August 2011, a five-man committee set up to audit the staff of Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State uncovered N10 million wage scam. Twenty-nine (29) dead persons and 72 ghost workers had been under the employment of the Council and had been receiving salaries since year 2003. In all, 500 ghost workers were discovered. This made the total of 2,578 ghost workers occupying the space of citizens whom are unemployed. The state never did anything to locate the account of the people the salary was going to and how to bring them to book but turned a blind eye to the mobbing, this is because the state is also a mob, mobbing the society and creating artificial unemployment and poverty. The state felt by bringing out the number of ghost workers for the society to hear they have done one glorious thing but alas they have even exposed their folly and mobbing attitudes to the society even more, showing the society and the global community the kind of parasite the state has become to the society. It became even more when they failed to bring these mobs to book and send them to abode of deterrence for others to take caution but the mob state felt it was ok to only remove them from the pay roll without doing what the society required of the state. It is a sad scenario that the state which supposed to be the eye of the society for curtailing evil and devising ways to make the society better for everyone to grow and be productive has become a criminal gang and a shadowy of itself.
